ID Photo Booth

Runs entirely in this browser tab — nothing is uploaded anywhere. Photos are cropped to 300×300, saved as JPG, and named by student ID.

1 Load your roster

Upload a CSV with columns for grade, name, and ID (headers can be named things like Grade, Name, ID — case doesn't matter). Or build the list by hand below. Tip: open the Veracross query, export the results as CSV, then upload that file here.

2 Choose how photos get saved

Photos will automatically download, already named correctly (e.g. 7477.jpg), to your browser's normal download folder.

Tips for making downloads land in the right place

In Chrome, go to chrome://settings/downloads, turn off "Ask where to save each file," and set the download location to this year's class-photos folder. Then every capture in this app will silently land exactly there.

In Chrome or Edge you'll also see a "Choose a folder to save directly into" button above. It skips the download step entirely and writes each photo straight into a folder you pick once. Safari and Firefox don't support this, so they use normal downloads.

3 Pick a student and take the photo
